Florida TRAC (Thoroughbred Retirement and Adoptive Care) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing aftercare, retraining and adoptive services to Thoroughbred racehorses at the end their racing careers. Located near Palm City, Florida, Florida TRAC has recognized the need for a dignified retirement for retired racehorses. In partnership with Gulfstream Park and the Florida Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (FHBPA), Florida TRAC provides retraining and aftercare services to hundreds of horses, preparing them for second careers in show jumping. hunter classes, eventing, trail riding, dressage, police work and even therapy for children and veterans.
Their dedicated management and staff provide hands-on daily care, veterinary services, shelter and retraining by professionals at all levels.
